Joe from 2 to 3 months old...
Joe turned 2 months old on September 27th, 2018.
At 2 months old he loves cooing, cuddling & being in his baby sling upright on my chest. As soon as it gets the least bit quiet, he screams in fear of abandonment. His neck is really strong and he keeps his head up well, possibly as a result of his mass amounts of time in the baby carrier.
At 7 weeks he started to smile when coaxed. So. Darn. Sweet.
He weighed 10.02#s at the start of his second month and around 11# at the end. 97/98o2, 143 pulse, 16 head circumfrence
He got his 2 month shots on 9/28/18
Throughout the month he caught a couple viruses & at the end of his 2nd month he quit pooping. He started out pooping 8-12 times a day due to acid reflux, then with reflux medicine, he knocked that down to 4-6 times a day and was less fussy, slept better & gained more weight. Now he is pooping about every 3 days! I broke down & called the doctor the first week, they were not concerned yet & said if he is using all his nutrients from breastfeeding, he may poop as little as ONCE A WEEK! I had never heard this before, but I do know some ladies in my family who are this way, just none of my other 5 kids had ever done this. He is going through a growth spurt, so maybe he is using all his nutrients in a day??
He looks so much older in the face now & he reacts so much more to his world & us in it. Bittersweet.
Happenings:
Mom & Dad got an Expedition EL in January after finding out about me & having good ultrasounds, Mom finally put gas in it for the 1st time 8 months later & discovered there's no gas cap, how cool!
Dad rolled his eyes.
