1am blood sugar check - over 50

5am blood sugar check - over 50

8am Labwork results come in - Bilirubin is 15.04, "borderline" and "low intermediate risk" 

platelets are up, white blood cells are down again, CRP (has to do with reaction to inflation) dropped 

Back on the biliblanket for 24 hours. 

9am blood sugar 57.....done with the dextrose drip!!!! Switched to saline to keep the line open for his last few rounds of antibiotics

Hugs monitor continues to go off every so often in the halls. 

Running on an average of two 45 minute sleeps and one 3 hour stretch of sleep per night. 

Wayne has his own medical issues going on today, finally he went in and is having an outpatient procedure done.....lord help him, he might need this hospital room today.....he did lay on it all day. 

The kids called at noon from the neighbors & said the power went out in our neighborhood leaving them communicationless, microwaveless, and dark in there. Over to the hospital room I brought them for a cozy afternoon. Wayne took them home at 6, hopefully he makes it into bed before losing it on anyone, he was in a bit of pain. 

There are not enough letters in the alphabet to describe the engorgement of my food producing capabilities & his nursing has slowed down from the bililight making him super sleepy. 

The woes are many today, holding onto the positives.

Joey is 5 days old today.
