Home with Joe...

Our last 12 hours in the hospital....

We did make it home on Friday morning when Joe turned 1 week old.

On the first official day of Rally Week, a Harley Biker take-home outfit seemed Legit.

Just before noon 8/5/18 Downtown Sturgis
Can you spot Grandma?

We have been trying to catch up on sleep today after sending my family off back to NE this morning.

Joe's 1st Outing - Orman!
He didn't get in his 1st swim, but we were going stir crazy & it was just the trick.

Tuesday Joe has his first appointment with our family doctor followed by Luke & Jake's ENT appointments to schedule tonsillectomy & adenoid removal surgeries before school starts.

Joe still hasn't been able to get his circ yet due to his elevated platelets as a precaution & he has THE WORSE diaper rash I've ever seen. There's absolutely no skin down there. About day 5 of the antibiotics, after a diaper change, it seemed to just.....dissolve. I'm talking I want to puke every time I change him...and to still have to get his little poop off.....I'm serious, it's gut wrenching & heart wrenching. He has prescription grade paste & hopefully now that the antibiotics are done, he will improve.

He eats like a champ & was still at 8lbs when we left the hospital.

He has discovered the working volumes of this house, ignore & scream louder than the rest.

He hasn't got to try out all his baby furniture yet as there has been a continuous fight for who's arms get to hold him next. He is not lacking for attention, nor probably ever will. #bigfamilyperk

When you come to visit, don't mind the mess, it's going nowhere soon, 19 years and counting.
