Update:
Joey was released from wound care after his last appointment last month. He has skin grown back on his bum, it's definitely scarred but continues to get a tiny bit smaller each week. It ALWAYS has a protective cream on it & he goes through SO MANY diapers with immediate changes & his acid reflux causing him to poop frequently. He just used his last newborn diaper which were getting too small, but the size 1s are still a bit loose....can I get a size .5????

| We fill a waiting room nicely, I think possibly some services released us simply not to have to put up with me bringing my whole crew anymore after school started, haha! |
His last appointment he was about at his birth weight and was in the 50th percentile for weight. No-one can get him stretched back to his 21" birth length, they swear he shrunk, and that there is NO WAY he's in the 90th %tile for height being Wayne & I's son. (However there was never any question about his huge head- hmmmm).

His cord fell off at 3 weeks when his snuza snagged it. He cried, I almost cried, we weren't ready.

He sleeps through the night about every 3rd night! And wakes up once the other nights. The 1st night he slept through the night was our 1st night of camping Labor Day Weekend. I hadn't gotten his Snuza on him before he passed out, so I WOKE UP 3x to poke him, but he slept through.
He has plugged tear ducts, which the camping nor the cold the entire region seems to have, have helped this matter. His little eye lids are looking chapped from all the watering and goupiness :(
Milestones:
Other than that he has been growing and rocking his milestones. He is a strong little dude who doesn't mind tummy time & holds his head up pretty darn good.

He knows my voice & instantly turns off the cry to follow it.

He loves looking at lights & is trying to track things that aren't light.

| Lizzy carries around her real looking babies & freaks people out as she drops them, trips or abandons them. #itsnotjoe |
His siblings love to hold him & spoil him & wherever he goes he gets quite the line of followers. (usually, It's "is that Zach's brother?") He isn't lacking for love & attention.
I just wish time would move slower & less busy so I could just sit & hold him a little longer. #everymom #momproblems

My style

Coming Up:
Mom is taking Luke to Luke Bryan for his bday & Dad will have his 1st night of "babysitting" me. He does NOT sound thrilled. He has yet to have to feed, change, burp, bathe, cloth or medicate me. He had no intention of doing any of those things. Mom is sad to leave him for a few hours.
Wayne is getting fixed. I swore I'd have nothing to do with this appointment as I have a Catholic mindset, however it's what he's wanted to do for years & my OBGYN walked me to the receptionist to schedule it <whaaaattt, I thought I was job security for you, how dare you side with him!> I'm trying real hard to be okay with it. He's right, I'd never be done if it were up to me.
And Joe was quite the journey.
